Using Social Media for Collaborative Learning in Higher Education: A Case Study

چکیده
This paper investigates the acceptability of using social media for collaborative learning in the context of higher education. A social media platform, Graasp, is used to support students’ learning activities in a project-based course. An evaluation of Graasp regarding its usefulness as a collaboration platform, a knowledge management site, and a gadget container, was conducted with the course participants. Quantitative and qualitative assessment methods used in the evaluation, as well as the main findings are presented. Keywords-social media; collaborative learning; knowledge management; E-Learning 2.0
